The slewing rings with double row of balls are monted on two rows of upper and lower steel balls with different diameteres according to the application conditions and the requested loads. This type of open assembly is very convenient, as the arc angles of upper and lower ring raceway are 90°, what can withstand large axial forces and tilting moments; when the radial force its superior than 0.1 times the axial force, it is recommended to specifically design the raceway.
